After launching desktops and laptops for media users and business professionals, HP released a new ultra portable tablet PC for students / mobile pros. The 12.1-inch tx2000 is a successor of the tx1000, based on an AMD dual core processor. It can be configured with Turion 64 X2 chip, 4GB memory, 250GB hard drive, dual layer DVD writer, Bluetooth, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless, and Vista.
The Pavilion tx2000 will ship from this month with a starting price of $1,299.
