Is it a bird? Is it a plane? It's... the Casio EXILIM EX-H10 Superzoom!
The battery is good for a healthy 1,000 shots, which Casio reckons will last all week, if you assume you're taking 142 shots per day
When you see the number ‘10’ on a digital camera, you’re normally thinking mnegapixels, but this time Casio is touting a new 10x optical Superzoom camera that’ll send most other digital compacts covering their 3x zooms in shameful inadequacy.
The new EXILIM EX-H10 packs a 24mm wide angle lens, a 12.1 megapixel sensor and a ton of shooting modes to make it easier to get the perfect snap even if you don’t know your white balance from your shutter speed. It’s also compact enough to fit into a pocket, making it possible to go on holiday without being forced to wear a big black, padded ‘tourist’ label.
The battery is good for a healthy 1,000 shots, which Casio reckons will last all week, if you assume you’re taking 142 shots per day. Only 142 shots?! Well, clearly Casio’s design team has never sat through one of T3’s CES slideshows.
The price for this tidy little camera comes in at £299 and it should be available from most camera stockist from today.
