It's going to cost the dancey-folk a whopping £108 to get their fingers on the turntable peripheral and game.Activision's long awaited saviour for DJs with Guitar Hero envy is on the way, but it's going to cost the dancey-folk a mighty £108 to get their fingers on the turntable peripheral and game.
The recommended retail price for the game is far more than the £70 we'd expect to pay for a Guitar Hero package, and a good bit along the way to the £135 for which you can get the full Guitar Hero: World Tour bundle with drums, guitar and microphone.
Retailers are sure to drop the price, (indeed, HMV have already knocked a nine quid off the pre-order price), but this might just be taking the mickey a little considering the game can be picked up in the States for $120 (£73 at today's rate).
Still regardless of the rather peturbing price tag, we can't wait for this. Activision has proved it to be the King of the virtual rock genre and its odds on it'll conquer the DJs too.
