MSI has joined the Centrino 2 crowd with the launch of the GX620 and GX720, a pair of notebooks for the gaming enthusiast.
The notebooks feature a choice of Intel Core 2 Duo processors and up to 4GB of DDR2 memory. Graphics come in the form of NVIDIA's 512MB GeForce 9600M GT, and there's an optional Blu-ray drive.
Both systems are near-identical, with the obvious difference being screen size; the GX620 offers a 15.4in screen and the GX720 measures in at 17in. Both offer Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 320GB SATA HDD.

Housed in a sleek-black case with red highlights, the notebooks hope to lure the hardcore gamer and it has the buttons to prove it. Pictured below are the touch-sensors that'll enable MSI's Turbo Drive Engine and ECO Engine Management.
Turbo Drive Engine, as you may have guessed, overclocks the CPU by as much as 15 per cent. After pushing it to the limit, you can use the ECO Engine to make yourself feel more green, it'll give you a choice of five battery-saving operating modes.
