HP Pavilion HDX 9200, dv2700, dv6700 and dv9700 laptops also run Intel Penryn

Hewlett-Packard has planned four new Intel Penryn Pavilion laptops, which will be released in the month of January or February. The Pavilion series notebooks aren't the only ones to get an update; HP will also update it's Compaq line up with the latest Intel 45nm Core 2 Duo processors. According to a latest report from Notebook Italia, HP will release Pavilion HDX 9200 (20.1-inch), dv2700 (14.1-inch), dv6700 (15.4-inch) and dv9700 (17-inch) with the new Intel Santa Rosa Refresh platform.

The HDX 9200 is the star attraction of the lot with support for various Intel processors including Core 2 Extreme X9000 / X7900 and Core 2 Duo T8300 / T8100. It features 4GB RAM, 640GB storage, dedicated NVIDIA or ATI graphics card, HD DVD / Blu-ray drive, HDMI, wireless, integrated camera, remote control, hybrid TV tuner, fingerprint reader, and Vista. The remaining ones are C2D lappies with dual layer DVD burner, Intel GMA, and same other configuration.
